Diamond Gamer was created by some of the most elite gamers. Gamers who have obtained the Diamond level on Starcraft 2. They created this addon to help those wanting to improve their gaming skills or for those wanting to level up. The strategies that you’ll get with this addon are proven and effective methods that have been tested by the authors. And it is continuously updated to account for any changes that are made within the game.

First impressions of the add-on are not favorable. A lot of folks and myself included were not that impressed. It just looks pretty tacky and seems more of an annoyance to have on your gaming screen. But, the menu can be minimized or made transparent so you can continue gameplay without getting distracted.

The Diamond Gamer add-on is like a help file menu within the game. It displays a menu with strategies that are related to your current game. For example, if you were playing as a Terran player when you click on the menu button it will pull up relevant information about Terran strategies. Or if you see that a player is doing some type of building order, with a click you can see what strategy your opponent is going for and how you can counter. Kinda like a scouting report of the enemy.

This addon is loaded with various strategies, including build orders. And it comes with dozens of video tutorials for single player and multi-player for all three races.

This all sounds like a hack, but it isn’t. It’s completely legal as it doesn’t alter anything within the game. So you can be rest assured that you won’t get your account banned on battlenet. As for it being an unfair tool. I don’t think it would be, after all it’s just a strategy guide – much like any other strategy guides. Except for this one just sits on your computer screen within the game. Like I said before, it’s like a help file menu. F1 anyone?

If you are struggling with Starcraft 2 or may just want to polish up your gaming skills, then the Diamond Gamer may just be for you. On it’s website they state that this can help you level up to the Diamond level and could even help you become so good as to get sponsored as a Pro gamer.

Upon searching for user feedback for Diamond Gamer I found that it received a lot of negative reviews from the gaming forum. But all of the negative feedback was based on their perspective from viewing the website. None of the negative remarks where based on the actual testing of the product.

Also a lot of the gamers felt that it had to be a scam. My guess on why they felt it was a scam, is because you have to pay a moderate price to get this add-on. That’s understandable, and there are other strategy guides that are cheaper. But information for the add-on is pulled into the game from the creators server and servers are not cheap. Plus, they provide a lot of gaming strategy information that is constantly updated.

Positive Reviews

I was able find a few positive reviews from gamers who have tested it. One gamer that tested it out and approved of it was from the FactPile.com website. The user reported that it made viewing strategies inside the game easy. There was no longer a use to alt+tab between windows. And it helped to improve his gaming strategies making it more likely for him to win. As well as learning building methods that were easy.

Another gamer, wccanuck, states that it helped him to massively improve his game which got him ranked at #465 on sc2ranks.com. As well as getting top ranking in his own Diamond League Division with 1300 points. And although he is not at the top 200 USA, being top 5% is not bad.

So overall, this will not necessarily make everyone an undefeated giant. But it can improve your gaming skills significantly.
